It is obvious that little or nothing has changed from the original House version of health care which I read a while ago. None of this is new and this bill is still junk.

So What Can We Do?

I have spent a lot of time picking apart the liberal plan for reforming health care in the U.S. I do not have any confidence in a government that cannot run anything cheaply or efficiently. They are the last people I would trust to manage one sixth of our economy--I wouldn't trust them to do my lawn care. So, it's high time to talk about what can and should be done instead. Here are some ideas that would go a long way to lowering the cost of health care for everyone without a government takeover of health care. 1) Individual responsibility: As with anything in life, when we are directly responsible for the outcomes of our decisions, we are better for it, individually and as a society. That responsibility includes being accountable for our life choices, the amount of risks we take and paying our bills. It seems like a no-brainer doesn't it? The American Death Cult

Cults are known for some typical but disturbing behavior. Most obvious, is the brainwashing of their members. They also specialize in controllling the flow of information; keeping vital facts from followers. They viciously attack anyone who might question their dogma or dare to leave the cult. In Defense of the Stay-at-home-Mom

"Democratic pundit Hilary Rosen, a political consultant who advises the Democratic National Committee, said on CNN Wednesday night that Ann Romney 'never worked a day in her life.'" (Washington Post, 4/12/12, Michael Katz) Ann Romney who has raised five boys who are all college graduates, gainfully employed, married fathers, "has never worked a day in her life." Wow, where to begin. Hilary Rosen has visited the White House over 30 times and works for the DNC. She has close ties to the Democratic party but was not speaking for the DNC. To their credit, many Democrats have distanced themselves from her comments. But her attitude towards stay-at-home mothers is indicative of how many liberals view us. It is one more glaring indication of their hypocrisy and general hatred towards the principles of conservatism, especially in the realm of women.
