Please Consider This

If you read my column/blog regularly, you know how I feel about Donald Trump. I haven't changed my mind but I have decided afters months of agonizing mental debates that I am going to vote for him. I vote knowing that he is not the moral leader I would like to assume the reigns of the Presidency. I vote hoping that his moral compass is only bent and not broken. I vote, praying that his redeeming qualities (which admittedly are few) will become his greatest features and strengths should he become President. I do NOT vote out of any loyalty to the Republican Party that has betrayed you and me time and time and time again. I will vote for Trump for three main reasons: First, Obamacare and therefore healthcare are about to collapse. (Gee, if only SOMEONE had warned us!) The Democrat goal all along has been to get us to fully socialized medicine. When Obamacare fails, and it is only months away, President Hillary will not hesitate for one second to move us to socialized medicine. If t...

National Lack of Integrity

According to dictionary.com the definition of integrity is: "adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty". Integrity in politics is becoming more scarce than ice cubes in hell. For example, a Huffington Post blog on why people really hate Hillary, was recently shared on Facebook. This blog post was one of the most egregious examples I have ever seen of felony intellectual fraud. The sum and substance of this blog excused everything St. Hillary the Martyr has ever done, or been accused of, because Trump is SO much worse. It then concluded that the real reason people hate her is because she's a woman. I'm not sure if I was more disturbed by the violent dry-heaving caused by this tripe or the fact that someone who I respect, who is smart and accomplished actually believes and shared it. If ever there were a more glaring example of the systemic loss of national integrity in the United States, it is the Presidential Election of 2016. ...

Moral Rot

IF we had a gigantic need for bathrooms that would accomodate transgenders in public, THEN the solution would be quite easy. Public places could simply provide a "Whatever" bathroom, with a door, to be used by one person at a time. Those who are not confused about their gender could then use the more public facilities--males only or females only. However, since this issue has little or nothing to do with an actual need, we delve deeper. This red herring is a solution looking for a problem. The same bunch of leftist attack dogs, having achieved the destruction of marriage as we know it, have moved on to this next false battle. We are spiraling ever further into the abyss of moral degradation that started in the 1960's. Each new wave is coming faster and more furious than the last leaving most of staring in disbelief in the world that we now occupy. With the pummeling that most of us have taken in the name of political correctness, few of us have the stomach to stand up a...

The System is Corrupt

Once again, our election cycle has amply demonstrated that our political system has been corrupted and populated by those who desperately cling to their power. Both party's systems are archaic, clunky, inefficient and inconsistent. It's enough to make you want to pick up a two-by-four and hit someone in the head. Why not go ahead and do that? Grab that board and hit yourself over the head a couple of times, because it is YOUR fault. You, who sit around and bellyache every Presidential Election cycle about how bad the system is and think the only thing you have to do is fill out a ballot, hit yourself with that board. You, who can't be bothered to set aside some of your time every two years to actually get involved with the process--whether it be a caucus or a convention or whatever your state does, clock yourself a good one. You, who have raised a generation of numbskulls who think that socialism (even with a "Democratic" label in front of it) is compatible with...

What is Going On?!

It has been incredibly interesting to observe what is certain to be an unprecedented primary campaign season. Witnessing what has been seemingly inexplicable up until now, some conclusions have become more clear in regards to the Trump and Bernie phenomenon. Sadly, all of those conclusions lead to a terrible ending which will likely cause irreversible harm to our nation. It has become abundantly clear that the citizens in this country are completely fed up with the Ruling Class that exists in the form of the career politicians in DC--deservedly so. This Ruling Class has made it obvious that they simply do not care what the desires of the voters are. They do not see themselves as representatives or public servants, but rather overlords who are wiser, smarter and better equipped to make decisions for the little people. Their priorities are getting rich, maintaining power at any cost, preserving the party power, enriching their cronies and on an occasional off day, the People or the Con...

The Big Lie

Lying has been a flaw of human nature from the beginning. Two of the most nefarious forms of lying are the lies we tell ourselves and the lies told to intentionally deceive others. Addicts in any form are particularly adept at lying to themselves about their situations. We have all seen it. Liberals are particularly adept at re-labeling, re-packaging and deflecting the truth to intentionally deceive others and themselves. This column will no doubt infuriate liberals. That is not my purpose. I hope they will have the courage and intellectual honesty to read to the end. Fact: Margaret Sanger, heroine of Hillary Clinton, was a social activist who started the American Birth Control League which evolved into Planned Parenthood to abort "undesirables" (blacks, the handicapped, children of mixed marriage and the poor). The policy that was adopted by our government in the early 1900's was "settled science", agreed to by the Supreme Court which allowed both forced abor...

Republican Primary

We are well into the throes of the campaign season, with the Republican Presidential Primary becoming more interesting every day. After having watched the first two debates, here are my thoughts about the candidates: Top Tier: Carly Fiorina--One of the best in the last debate. Had the best moment by far when she talked about the abominable abortion practices of Planned Parenthood. A rising star, Washington outsider, smart, well-spoken, well-informed and fearless. Would pay big money to see her debate Hillary Clinton (or any other Democrat); it would be a bloodbath. I need to know more about her political stances, but like what I've heard to date. Ben Carson--Simply a great man. Doesn't do well in this debate format because he's too polite. Loves this country and the Constitution and is extremely intelligent. Has a solid moral foundation. Thoughtful and unflappable. The Democrats could never lay a glove on him. The question will always be, "Are you qualified to be P...
